TheGrio's 100: Myron Rolle, Rhodes Scholar footballer with a heart

On first glance, Myron Rolle appears to be three different, highly accomplished people living secretly under one alias. One Myron Rolle was drafted in 2010 as a new safety for the Tennessee Titans, another Myron Rolle is a Rhodes Scholar who earned a Master in Science in medical anthropology from Oxford in 2009, the last, a founder of a non-profit foundation that sponsors charitable initiatives throughout the world to benefit children and families in need. The simple truth is that behind all of these activities is a man who is passionate and driven, and a true inspiration for athlete, physician, or otherwise.

Myron Rolle is making history ... by being a true example of a modern Renaissance man. He was an All-American safety at Florida State, had near perfect grades, and was one of only two dozen students selected to receive the prestigious Rhodes scholarship...in his junior year. His foundation has developed a number of programs and camps to promote health and fitness, including hosting a Wellness and Leadership Academy for 100 foster children in 2009.
