FSU Rhodes Scholar Johnson Develops Text Messaging Business

Email is so yesteryear, so 2008.

If you want to touch base with anyone under age 40, you need to send them a text message.

So contends Florida State University Rhodes Scholar Garrett Johnson, who has created a website and platform that he thinks will revolutionize communication for schools, nonprofits, health departments and countless other organizations.

Johnson, 27, is a 2006 graduate of FSU – the NCAA shot put champion earned his degree in three years and was magna cum laude, in addition to being awarded a Rhodes – and recently finished a two-year stint with a U.S. Senate committee.
