Did you know that Rachel Maddow is a Rhodes Scholar from Oxford University, where she earned a Ph.D in political science? So not only does she make news fun, but she holds smart conversations with her guests.

Wednesday night, she and NYU Law School Professor Kenji Yoshino had an engaging discussion about the surprising federal court ruling Wednesday, Feb. 26, declaring the gay marriage ban in Texas unconstitutional. They also discussed the decision by Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer to veto SB 1062, a bill that would allow businesses to “turn away” or deny service to LGBT people.
