From the AARS President:

Happily every year brings joy in various events to the AARS and its members. In Scholars Elect Bio,  you meet the 2007 American Rhodes Scholars! For the thirteenth year, the Association of American Rhodes Scholars (AARS) is pleased to present these bios introducing the newly elected Rhodes Scholars to their predecessors, to each other, to Oxford, and to individuals and educational institutions nationwide. Read AARS President Report.

From the American Secretary:

Our second year with the new 16-district selection system proceeded without a hitch. The number of endorsed applications was almost identical to those of the previous two years (about 900), and evidence from colleges suggest again that about 500 others sought college endorsements and did not receive them. Read the American Secretary's report.

The Sailing "Bon Voyage" Weekend, September 23 - September 27, 2006
