Notice Regarding Membership Dues:

For over 17 years, the AARS has not raised membership dues even as the cost of operations has increased. In order to sustain our mission of fostering intergenerational connections among scholars, we will be increasing dues on January 1, 2025, as follows: 

  • Scholars who began their studies at Oxford within the last eight years: $40 per year 
  • All other scholars: $85 per year 

Thank you for your continued support as we work to advance our mission!

Membership includes:

  • Access to the full AARS website
  • Member prices for events and reunions
  • A one-year subscription to The American Oxonian 

About AARS Membership

  • Rhodes Scholars from any constituency living and/or working in the United States are eligible. U.S. Rhodes Scholars living and/or working abroad are also eligible.
  • Membership requires paying annual dues. 
  • For Scholars in residence, the dues are zero.

3 Ways to Donate to the AARS

1. Donors may contribute to the AARS online by clicking on this link.

2. Donors may contribute to the AARS by check. If mailing your dues or donation, please make checks payable to the AARS and mail to:

3. Individuals who wish to donate appreciated stock or other securities to AARS are encouraged to make such gifts directly rather than donating online; please contact our Administrative Manager (admin@americanrhodes.org) for instructions on how to make such gifts. 

Because AARS is a recognized IRS Section 501(c)(3) organization, if you did not receive any goods or services in return, your contribution is fully deductible for federal income tax purposes.
