2 New Hampshire women selected as Rhodes Scholars

Two Ivy League students from New Hampshire have been chosen as Rhodes scholars.

The Rhodes Trust announced the awards early Sunday. The two New Hampshire recipients are among 32 American students chosen as Rhodes Scholars for 2012, who will be awarded scholarships to study at Oxford University.

Helen Jack of Hanover studies at Yale University. Jack said Sunday she’s “still reeling’’ from her selection, which followed a round of two interviews Saturday. Jack said her studies concentrate on the connection between medical practice and public health policy. She has worked in the areas of mental health and addiction.
