Ralph Smith Featured Speaker at Asian Global Business Summit
BIRMINGHAM—Ralph H. Smith, II, President of the Ralph Smith Group and Special Counsel at Jones Walker, will be a featured speaker at the Asia-Pacific CEO Association’s Global Business Summit to be held June 13–15, 2013, outside Shanghai, China. The theme of this year's summit is "Economic Globalization," and his speech will focus on collaborations between higher education and business. Mr. Smith will also be meeting in June with government, business, and academic leaders in South Korea in the development of the Global Innovation Alliance he helped launch in 2012 to promote scientific innovation and economic development. Focused on the Southern region of the USA, the Global Innovation Alliance has partnerships with leading educational institutions in Asia, South America, and Europe.
