Russia's War in Ukraine, NATO, and Transatlantic Ties

Hosted by the AARS and the Association of German Rhodes Scholars

Transatlantic ties have been crucial in the fight for democracy through two world wars and the Cold War. Our panel, on February 13 at 12:00 pm Eastern (6:00 pm Central European Time), will explore the importance of these ties in today's multi-polar world.

The webinar will be moderated by General Michelle Johnson (Iowa & Brasenose 1981), with panelists Admiral Dennis Blair (Virginia & Worcester 1968), Ambassador Ekkehard Brose (Germany & St. Catherine's 1981), Ambassador Michael McFaul (Montana & St. John's 1986), Ambassador Martin Ney (Germany & Merton 1981), and journalist/author David Satter (Illinois & Balliol 1968).

The conversation, which will be held on Zoom, is hosted by the Association of American Rhodes Scholars and the Association of German Rhodes Scholars and is open to all Rhodes Scholars and Oxonian members of the AARS and AGRS. Space may be limited for this Zoom event, so please register early.
