Celebrating the 2026 Rhodes Scholars Before Their Journey to Oxford.

The Association of American Rhodes Scholars is excited to welcome you to this year's Bon Voyage Weekend Reception and Dinner on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

Join us as we celebrate the 2026 Rhodes Scholars before they begin their journey to Oxford. The evening will feature a keynote address from Kurt Schmoke (Maryland/DC & Balliol 1971), an attorney, educator, former mayor of Baltimore, and president of the University of Baltimore.

Event Details

  • Quadrennial Meeting: 4:30pm ET (AARS Members welcome)
  • Reception: 5:00pm ET
  • Dinner: 6:15pm ET
  • Dessert & Drinks Reception: 8:00pm ET

Tickets

  • $125 per person
  • $35 discounted ticket for recent Scholars (2016–2025) or those experiencing financial hardship
  • Table of 10: $1,250 (includes reserved seating together and limited-edition AARS merchandise)

The event is open to Rhodes Scholars and their guests, Rhodes Scholars-Elect, and partners of Scholars-Elect traveling with them to Oxford. Each Scholar may purchase up to two individual tickets for themselves and one guest.
