Announcement: The Board of Directors of AARS cordially invites Rhodes Scholars to attend the Reception and Departure Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. for 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 26 at the Cosmos Club, Washington DC. This event honors the Rhodes Scholars for 2007. The guest speaker is General Wesley K. Clark (ret.) (Arkansas & Magdalen 1966), Former Supreme Allied Commander Europe and candidate for the 2004 Democratic Presidential Nomination. Report: Nearly 100 guests, including the 2007 Scholars, enjoyed conversation and lunch at the Cosmos Club. Joyce Knight and Beth Maslowsky were recognized for their years of serivce to AARS. Wes Clark reflected on his trip to Oxford, his experiences there and and extended his best wishes to the 2007 Scholars.
